DLA Piper advises BillingPlatform in securing US$90 Million Equity Growth Investment

DLA Piper represented BillingPlatform, an enterprise revenue lifecycle management solutions provider, in securing a significant US$90 million growth equity investment from FTV Capital, a growth equity firm focused on enterprise technology and services, financial services, and payments and transaction processing.

The investment will further BillingPlatform's expansion in a rapidly growing US$10 billion market as organizations increasingly leverage the company's holistic suite of offerings to support new revenue streams and strategies, minimize revenue leakage, and improve customer satisfaction.

BillingPlatform is a cloud-based platform designed to optimize revenue generation across each stage of the customer lifecycle that drives growth through operational agility and seamless customer experience.

“We’re honored to have worked with BillingPlatform on securing this latest round of funding to sustain the company’s significant growth,” said Andrew Gilbert, chair of DLA Piper’s US corporate practice who led the deal team. “This notable investment will allow BillingPlatform to successfully execute on its strategic business expansion efforts.”

In addition to Gilbert (Short Hills), the DLA Piper team included lead associate Dylan Caplan (Philadelphia); partners Scott Cowan (Short Hills), Rita Patel (Washington, DC), and Kurtis Weaver (Boston); and associates Elizabeth Sheeleigh (Short Hills) and Casey Flanagan (Philadelphia).
