DLA Piper Spain phishing emails
DLA Piper has become aware of fraudulent attempts by unauthorised third parties to misuse the name, corporate image and identity of our professionals in order to deceive individuals and companies through email.
These fraudulent activities include but are not limited to:
- False copyright claims, demanding that the recipient take legal action or make immediate payments.
- Requests for payment of false invoices, purportedly issued by DLA Piper.
- Emails containing malicious links or attachments.
DLA Piper will never request confidential information or payments through unverified channels or without prior agreement with its clients.
If you receive a suspicious communication that appears to be from DLA Piper, we recommend that you:
- Do not respond or provide any personal or financial information.
- Do not open any attachments or click on any links in the message.
- Verify the authenticity of the sender by contacting our office directly through the official channels available on our website: www.dlapiper.com.
DLA Piper is not responsible for any damage resulting from fraudulent communications made by third parties unrelated to the firm.
