Nia M. Brown

Nia M. Brown is a member of the Corporate group at DLA Piper as a Transactions Specialist. She focuses her practice on assisting public and private companies and individuals with matters related to representations and warranties insurance and other M&A related transactional insurance products. 

Ms. Brown has represented US and foreign clients in a range of transactional matters, among them acquisitions and dispositions (including mergers, stock and asset transactions and divestitures), cross-border acquisitions, venture capital investments, general corporate and securities matters and public and private securities offerings.

Ms. Brown began her career at the New York office of an international law firm, where she was a member of the mergers and acquisitions practice group and worked with Fortune 500 companies and other top-tier issuers and acquirers.

Ms. Brown is deeply committed to pro bono service.
