Alec Campbell advises both US and international investment fund managers on the tax aspects of forming investment funds domestically and abroad, including buyout funds, funds-of-funds, venture capital funds, credit funds, and other investment partnerships. Alec also regularly advises investment fund managers and institutional investors on the formation of continuation funds, the purchase and sale of interests in investment funds, the tax aspects of other secondaries transactions, and liquidity solutions for private fund sponsors. Alec has worked on numerous fund formation and alternative investment transactions ranging from several million dollars to several billion dollars for clients.
