Aidan McCormack is the US Chair and Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper's 400-plus lawyer Insurance & Reinsurance Sector Practice. 

He represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of dispute, transactional and regulatory matters. He has a particular concentration on insurance and reinsurance-related litigations, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings. 

Aidan serves as global counsel to a wide range of companies. He has represented clients in matters throughout the Americas, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Bermuda. The breath of issues he has handled includes those involving fraud, due diligence, underwriting, specialty products, department of insurance regulatory issues and transactional projects, casualty, commercial property, aviation, D&O, E&O, bad faith / extra contractual exposures, intellectual property disputes, climate claims, cyber and technology losses, toxic and mass tort liabilities, and entertainment books.
