Construction Bulletin: Spotlight on the UK disputes team

October 2023

In this Autumn 2023 edition of the global construction disputes bulletin we focus on the UK construction, engineering and infrastructure disputes team. With five partners, one consultant, five legal directors and fourteen associates, we operate as a “one UK” team out of offices in London, Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. Our work encompasses disputes in the UK and throughout the world on major infrastructure projects including power (with a particular emphasis on renewables), transport, waste, water and PPP/PFI projects. In this edition, we focus on renewable energy, with a report on the hydrogen industry and FIDIC’s proposals to issue a new contract for offshore wind farm projects, as well as amendments to the Arbitration Act 1996.
