In certain jurisdictions professional indemnity insurance is required to be placed locally in accordance with statute or regulation. Where there are such requirements we have policies in place to meet these obligations, details of which can be supplied on request.

If we are unable to resolve a problem through internal channels, our client may refer the matter to the Norwegian Bar Association, details of which are accessible at www.jus.no. If, after investigation, it is found that the complaint is justified, the Norwegian Bar Association may report the lawyer to Tilsynsrådet for Advokatvirksomhet who can take disciplinary action against the lawyer.
