DLA Piper and partner Caroline Laband named recipients of Insurance 5-Star Excellence Awards (New Zealand)

DLA Piper in New Zealand has been named a recipient of a 5-Star Excellence Award for Insurance Law Firms in the 2021 Insurance Business New Zealand and NZ Lawyer 5-Star Excellence Report. New Zealand Partner, Caroline Laband, was also named a recipient of a 5-Star Insurance Lawyer Award.

Caroline Laband and the team were rated as 'excellent' across all criteria in the research process, which was based on feedback from leaders in the insurance industry over a period of 15 weeks. At the end of the research period, the firms and lawyers that received the highest rankings in terms of work quality, specialist expertise and client service quality were declared 5-Star Excellence Awardees in the field of insurance law.

The Report distinguishes the best and brightest legal professionals whose incredible work in this space over the past year has set a high bar for the insurance sector. This is a wonderful achievement with DLA Piper one of only 12 firms mentioned and Caroline Laband one of only 12 lawyers recognised in this year's Report.
