Alberto Angeloni

Alberto Angeloni is a Partner of the Firm and Co-Head of the Restructuring Department. He specializes in national, international, and EU bankruptcy law, as well as related litigation and out-of-court restructuring matters.
Alberto assists clients in procedures and in bankruptcy proceedings such as claw back actions, pre-bankruptcy proceedings, complaints against bankruptcy judgments, appeals for approval of debt restructuring agreements composition with creditors, and in anything generally related to domestic and cross border insolvency proceedings.
Alberto assists debtors, creditors and investors in all corporate reorganization and restructuring operations in the context of the para-bankruptcy instruments provided for by the Italian Bankruptcy law. In this context, he has gained considerable experience in the procedures of composition with creditors and debt restructuring agreements, having obtained the approval of numerous procedures before the main national courts.
Alberto has also gained considerable experience in corporate litigation with particular reference to the obligations and responsibilities of directors and supervisory bodies.
Before joining DLA Piper in 2016, Alberto worked with leading national and international law firms.
