Hannah Gardiner is an intellectual property and technology lawyer, specialising in both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. 

Hannah’s education and experience is predominantly in the life sciences, technology and CGFR sectors. She advises on national and international commercial IP strategy, due diligence in M&A deals, and licencing matters. She also acts for clients in a range of contentious matters including patent, design right and trademark opposition and infringement work. Her particular interest is in working in the intersect of science, technology and law.
 

EXPERIENCE

  • Acted for a global science and technology innovator in relation to the acquisition of a start-up specialising in the development and manufacturing of patient-derived organoids. Advised extensively on issues such as chain of title and co-ownership of Intellectual Property.
  • Represented the claimant in patent and design right infringement litigation before the High Court.
  • Advised on intellectual property licencing and ownership provisions, opposition and infringement relating to the design and manufacturing, installation and ongoing maintenance of green technology.
  • Advised on prize promotion terms for key FTSE 100 clients in the CGFR sector.
  • Manages the trademark portfolio for a leading global supplier in sustainable packaging solutions.
