Teodor Săbău practices in the area of corporate law, advising clients on complex M&A transactions, venture capital funding rounds and other regulatory aspects.

His work is particularly focused on advising clients in the Energy sector, with a particular focus on transactions with renewable capacities, as well as complex regulatory matters that arise in a project’s development and grid connection process.

Teodor has also assisted clients on regulatory aspects related to energy trading, including in connection with investigations from the energy regulator.

  • Advised one of the leading German developers of renewable energy projects in the sale of five photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity of 208 MW to a French multinational integrated energy company.
  • Advised one of the major European players developing, financing, constructing and managing large-scale projects in the renewable energy sector, to acquire the 400 MW wind farm project from a Luxembourg investment fund
  • Advised a leading French utility company in connection with the acquisition of two operations solar power plants
  • Assisted one of the world’s leading digital music companies, on its acquisition of a 25% stake in a top independent music and entertainment group.
  • Advised one of the world’s largest Research Consulting Organization (RCO) and the leading global provider of regulatory, clinical and compliance services for the life sciences industry in its transaction to acquire a leading provider of services to biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies in the CEE.
