Navigating Mass Settlements With Generative AI, Part II
In Part I, we explored how generative artificial intelligence can help uncover key facts hidden in thousands of records, increasing the speed, accuracy, and feasibility of managing and resolving mass claims. But in the ever-changing nature of most mass claims, there is much more to analyze than the documents provided by your adversary.
In Part II, we shift focus from insights that emerge from the facts provided by the claimants to the signals in a broader litigation ecosystem. From our experience building and using these products, one of the most effective uses of AI in mass claims is to integrate data from the litigation documents (the complaints and plaintiff fact sheets that were the focus of Part I) with outside sources, including regulatory documents, scientific studies, court analytics and even social media. By weaving these sources together, counsel can more holistically assess risk, monitor developments in real time and shape strategies more comprehensively.
