EXPERIENCE

  • Assisted and advised a leading UK educational provider on a potential acquisition of a school and pre-school in Bahrain.
  • Assisted and advised a regional company on its exit strategy to a number of its portfolio companies. This includes drafting and advising on the share sale and purchase agreement, shareholder agreement along with relevant documentation until completion of the transaction.
  • Advised and negotiated a settlement agreement on behalf of a leading family investment company against their joint venture partner in KSA. This included drafting a settlement agreement and assisted in advising them on the acquisition of the joint venture's stake in the company.
  • Assisted and advised a number of investment companies on the regulatory framework for asset tokenization in Bahrain.
  • Assisted and guided global fintech companies in the establishment of their operations in Bahrain, as well as carrying out the necessary documentation and fulfilling the legal requirements for their local presence for obtaining specialized licenses, such as payment service provider and crypto service provider licenses.
  • Assisted and advised a number of clients with respect to implementation of data protection framework in accordance with the Bahrain personal data protection law and its implementing regulations. This includes creating gap analysis, reviewing privacy policies and related policies.
