Carmen Chierchia

Carmen Chierchia is a Partner in the Town Planning group within the Real Estate department. Carmen is also head of the Real Estate Sector in Italy. She is based in the Milan office. 
Carmen advises private companies and public administrations on complex land use matters, helping them navigate urban development, building permit strategies, territorial constraints, and land portfolio management. She works collaboratively with technical teams and public bodies to align regulatory requirements with project goals, reducing risk and enabling timely, sustainable development.
She supports clients throughout the administrative process for large-scale development projects, including data center complexes, logistics platforms, retail assets, residential and touristic settlments, and tertiary districts, with a focus on environmental compliance and urban-planning aspects.
Carmen coordinates Responsible Business in Italy and champions diversity and inclusion, making a significant impact through her involvement in LAW – Leadership Alliance for Women.
