DLA Piper advises Armen on minority stake investment in Vendis Capital

DLA Piper has advised Armen on its strategic minority investment in Vendis Capital, a leading European private equity firm specialising in high-growth consumer brands.

This investment represents the fifth investment by the Armen GP Stakes Fund I. The transaction underscores the sustained growth of the European GP Stakes market, in which investors acquire minority stakes in an alternative asset manager (GP), allowing investors to participate in the GP's returns.

Through this transaction, Armen further consolidates its position as a trusted partner within the European private equity ecosystem, by building a diversified portfolio of mid-market alternative asset managers and providing support to facilitate their transition towards sustainable and responsible business practices.

The DLA Piper team in France was led by Corporate partners Thomas Priolet and Diane Campion de Poligny who were supported by Counsel Edouard Baladès and Associate Sarah Gardes in France.
