DLA Piper has been awarded Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year at the Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Awards 2026, reinforcing the firm's market leading practice in dispute resolution across the Middle East and North Africa.

Held on Thursday, 12 February in Dubai, the awards recognise the most significant achievements in the legal sector over the past 12 months, highlighting organisations and teams who have made a substantial contribution to the development of the legal landscape in the MENA while showcasing regional success on a global stage.

The firm's recognition follows its Band 1 ranking for Dispute Resolution in the Legal 500 guide, underlining the continued trust clients place in the team to handle complex and high-value disputes.

Andrew Mackenzie, Partner and Region Head of DLA Piper's Litigation & Regulatory practice in the Middle East, commented: “This award serves as a fantastic recognition of the team and its hard work in guiding our clients through their most complex and high stakes disputes, not just across the Middle East and North Africa, but internationally."

At the event, Andrew Mackenzie was also recognised as one of the leading lawyers in the United Arab Emirates and leading dispute resolution lawyers across MENA, being short listed in both categories.
