Arad Mojtahedi advises clients on complex corporate and commercial disputes with a focus on restructuring and insolvency. His practice includes CCAA restructurings, BIA proposals and bankruptcies, receiverships, DIP and other secured financings, distressed M&A transactions, enforcement proceedings, as well as high‑value claims and priority disputes.

Arad provides practical, solutions‑driven advice to financial institutions, debtors, court officers, trade creditors, shareholders, directors and other stakeholders involved in corporate restructurings. Clients appreciate Arad's strategic, steady approach to urgent and complex mandates, and he has particular experience in restructurings in the real estate, forestry, mining, cannabis and retail sectors. He regularly appears before superior courts in British Columbia and Quebec, and has represented clients in appeals, including before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Actively engaged in the restructuring bar, Arad is a frequent speaker on insolvency matters and contributes to leading publications, including the Annual Review of Insolvency Law and LexisNexis Canada’s JurisClasseur Québec – Bankruptcy and Insolvency (French). During law school, he clerked for the Honourable Justice François Doyon at the Quebec Court of Appeal.
