Franco Trasolini is Managing Partner of the Vancouver Office and is engaged in a general real estate and commercial practice, including all aspects of real estate development, leasing, sales and acquisitions and other land-related transactions, with a particular emphasis on strata developments.

A native of Vancouver, Franco was educated at the University of British Columbia under the Commerce/Law program.

EXPERIENCE

  • Counsel to Thompson Rivers University with respect to the development of the University’s urban master planned community on the University campus
  • Counsel to Oxford Properties Group in the development of a new 36 storey, 540,000 square foot AAA class office tower in downtown Vancouver, together with other downtown properties
  • Counsel to Nanaimo Port Authority with respect to the development of various projects on Port Authority lands including the Duke Point Terminal Modernization Project, the BC Vehicle Processing Centre, the Western Canada Marine Response Centre and the Port of Nanaimo cruise ship facility and terminal
  • Counsel to Mission Group Enterprises Ltd. with respect to various projects, including a joint venture with the University of British Columbia for the development of a mixed-use institutional, commercial and residential project in downtown Kelowna consisting of three residential/commercial towers
  • Counsel to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, as Receiver-Manager, with respect to the marketing and sale of a multi-unit residential project in Castlegar, BC
  • Acted for the UBC Alma Mater Society in the development of a new $103 million Student Union Building on the University of British Columbia campus
  • Acted for the Seller of a 26.7 acre multi-tenanted prime industrial site in Coquitlam, BC
  • Acted for the Developer in the subdivision and sale of a 14 lot development property in West Kelowna, BC
  • Acted for the Developer in the subdivision and sale of a 22 lot bare land strata project in Windermere, BC
  • Acted for the Seller of a 71 unit residential apartment building located in Burnaby, BC
