Ignacio Bard focuses his legal practice on Corporate Law, Project Finance, Venture Capital, and Private Equity. He graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Juridical and Social Sciences at Universidad de La Plata, Argentina. In recognition for his activities in university politics, in 2019 he was awarded the scholarship “País Federal” by the Fundación Universitaria del Río de la Plata. Then, he engaged in legal practice, working for a boutique law firm. In May 2022 he got his LLM degree from the University of Virginia – School of Law.

Ignacio frequently contributes his time and expertise to Pro-Bono initiatives focused on refugee protection, in partnership with DLA offices and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Additionally, he has provided translation services for the Charlottesville's Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.

Prior to joining DLA Piper Argentina, Ignacio Bard gained experience as a junior associate at a boutique law firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This position allowed him to work across various legal domains, including Corporate Law, Contracts Law, International Law, and more, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of different areas of law.
