DLA Piper advises Montana Aerospace AG on syndicated loan agreement

DLA Piper has advised the internationally operating Montana Aerospace AG (Montana Group) on a syndicated corporate financing of EUR450 million. The loan agreement was arranged by Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, HSBC Continental Europe S.A., Germany, and UniCredit Bank Austria AG, which are lenders alongside other well-known international credit institutions. The tranches consist of a bullet loan, which will be used to repay currently outstanding promissory bills, and a revolving credit facility of EUR150 million.

Montana Aerospace AG is a leading manufacturer of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace industry with development and production sites worldwide. The company employs around 7,000 highly qualified employees at 22 locations on four continents. They design, develop and produce technologies for the aerospace, electromobility and energy industries of tomorrow based on aluminum, titanium, composite materials, copper and steel. DLA Piper had already advised Montana Aerospace AG on its IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange in May 2021.
