DLA Piper advises Everstone Capital on US$270 million investment in Apothecon Group
DLA Piper advised Singapore-based private equity firm Everstone Capital on its US$270 million investment in Apothecon Group (Apothecon), a combined entity consisting of India-based Apothecon Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. and US-based Navinta III Inc.
Apothecon develops specialty pharmaceutical formulations and manufactures its own active ingredients. It has a commercial presence across the US, Europe, Asia, and other global markets. The investment will support Apothecon’s product pipeline development, commercial expansion into new geographies, and pursuit of complementary acquisitions.
The deal team was led by Partners Neil Vohra, Merrick Doll, and Associate Jessica Lowe (all Chicago), and included Partners Jason Veit (Chicago), Matt Servies (Atlanta), and Betsy Burkhard (Boston), Of Counsel Michael Massiatte (Dallas), and Associate Ashley Bax (Chicago).
