DLA Piper advised Airbus on the sale of the Wydział Usług Lotniczych in Mielec to Mieleckie Zakłady Lotnicze

DLA Piper Poland advised Airbus in connection with the sale of the Wydziału Usług Lotniczych in Mielec to Mieleckie Zakłady Lotnicze, part of the Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz - Institution of Aviation.

The investment was dictated by the development policy of the entire Airbus Group and the desire to expand the capabilities of the Instytut Wydziału Usług Lotniczych in Mielec to carry out research and implementation projects.

Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Institution of Aviation is one of the most modern research institutions in Europe, with traditions dating back to 1926. The Institute cooperates closely with global aerospace industry giants such as Airbus, GE and Pratt&Whitney, as well as with space industry institutions, including the European Space Agency. The Institute's strategic research areas cover aerospace and unmanned aerospace technologies.
