Nikki is a practitioner in the field of intellectual property (IP) law, with extensive experience assisting local and global businesses to build and enforce their IP rights. In addition to her Australian and NZ legal qualifications, she holds technical qualifications in mechanical engineering, and is a registered Australian/NZ patent attorney.
Nikki focuses her practice on the strategic development and litigation of global patent portfolios. She is praised by her clients for providing creative solutions and strategies along with clear and thorough advice. She has worked with clients in manufacturing and packaging technologies, industrial processes, renewable energy, agriculture, marine, automotive, toys and consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Nikki advises on a range of IP related projects including: IP capture for product design and branding teams; securing registered rights; IP rights enforcement and litigation; infringement risk assessment; and commercialising and licensing IP.
Nikki has worked as an in-house counsel for a leading toy and consumer goods company in China, managing their global IP requirements.
