DLA Piper advised Warc Africa on the closing of its US$7.5 million Series B financing

DLA Argentina and DLA Piper US advised Warc Africa, a company that serves roughly 20,000 smallholder farmers in Ghana and Sierra Leone with wholesale inputs and access to agriculture markets, in the closing of its US$7.5 million Series B financing.

“This cross-border transaction reflects the interest of investors in social impact and development programs in West Africa and Warc’s ability to penetrate and expand in local communities. Our deal team was thrilled to collaborate on this project.” said Antonio Arias, the DLA Piper Argentina partner who led the deal team.

In addition to Arias (Buenos Aires), the DLA Piper Argentina team included associate Ignacio Bard (Buenos Aires). The DLA Piper US team included partner Bradley Gersich (Palo Alto) and of counsel Carlos Vaca (Washington, DC).
