DLA Piper strengthens Intellectual Property and Technology practice with two new appointments

DLA Piper has appointed Michał Gajdus as counsel and Jakub Zabraniak, as senior associate in its Warsaw office, strengthening its Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) practice and bolstering its intellectual property litigation focus.

Michał is an attorney at law and specialises in intellectual property law and litigation. His practice includes complex patent infringement and invalidity disputes. He has also represented clients before Polish and European courts, including the General Court of the European Union and the Court of Justice of the EU, as well as before national and international arbitration tribunals. His clients include major global companies in the pharmaceutical, real estate, energy, and telecommunications sectors. 

Jakub specialises in commercial disputes, including intellectual property disputes and has represented clients in patent disputes across various fields.
