About

Jerritt Pawlyk is a partner in DLA Piper's Restructuring and Insolvency Group. He advises all stakeholders in complex insolvency, restructuring and enforcement matters.

With over two decades of experience, Jerritt acts for clients across a broad range of industries and at every stage of the insolvency process, including proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, receiverships, bankruptcies, enforcement proceedings and related commercial disputes. He is known for practical, results-oriented advice in matters involving competing stakeholder interests, urgent court applications and challenging business realitie.

Clients turn to Jerritt for his judgment, advocacy and ability to develop creative solutions in high-pressure situations. He has acted in significant CCAA and receivership proceedings involving lenders, leasing companies, noteholders, landlords, monitors, secured creditors and critical suppliers.

Jerritt is recognized by The Legal 500 Canada for restructuring and by Best Lawyers in Canada for insolvency and financial restructuring law and is a member of INSOL International and the Turnaround Management Association.
