Jens Pihl is a qualified IT- and technology attorney having advised clients on both customer and supplier side on all aspects of contract and regulatory compliance, in the intersection of technology, commercial, and law for more than twenty years.
His practice includes drafting and negotiation of extensive and complex IT- contracts as well as regulatory compliance with respect to data, including personal data, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI).
Jens originally qualified in Denmark and has worked for both a wide number of international private clients - focusing particularly on regulated industries - as well as for public sector clients. Further, he has acted as both external counsel as well as in-house legal counsel for major IT suppliers and a major telecommunications company.
He is recognised for his strong interest in - and in-depth understanding of - the technical and operational aspects of IT- and technology and his ability to combine this insight into pragmatic and solution oriented “plug-and-play” legal advice supporting clients in achieving their commercial objectives.
Jens has a particular focus on emerging technologies -including AI, IoT, Big Data, robotics, and blockchain.
