DLA Piper advises Mesirow on acquisition of LeafHouse Financial Advisors

DLA Piper advised Mesirow, a financial services firm, in the company’s acquisition of LeafHouse Financial Advisors. The company is a division of LeafHouse Financial Group, a technology company that creates investment solutions for the retirement plan industry.

This acquisition is anticipated to increase Mesirow’s under-management assets by approximately US$23 billion, enhancing its capacity to support advisors, plan sponsors, and institutional clients through expanded scale and advanced technology solutions. Upon completion of the transaction, LeafHouse’s advisory business will be integrated into Mesirow Fiduciary Solutions. Additionally, Mesirow is expected to make a strategic investment in LeafHouse Financial Services, another division of LeafHouse Financial Group, to facilitate continued technological innovation.
