Holly R. Lake is an employment practices and litigation partner, recently named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2025 Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys list and, in 2023, she was recognized for the third consecutive year by the Daily Journal as a Top Labor and Employment Lawyer.

As an advisor to her clients, Holly partners on all matters related to employment. Her experience includes offering advice and counsel on: DEI initiatives and compliance; ESG strategies; pay equity analyses; strategies related to personnel movement and adverse impact; and day to day advice related to personnel management. She frequently provides thought leadership on all matters related to strategic employment practices, recently counseling clients and providing strategies related to the Federal Executive Order revoking federal DEI, DEIA, and affirmative action policies and practices.

As a trial attorney and litigator, Holly has a breadth of experience defending clients across industries not only in single/multiple plaintiff cases but also defending employers in wage-and-hour class, collective and private attorney general representative actions under California laws and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII and the Fair Employment and Housing Act. She acts as a partner to her clients, making it her business to understand their needs and goals, and then developing a legal strategy that's unique to the case at hand. Her approach has resulted in success before the Court of Appeal, trial victories, and summary judgment wins.
