DLA Piper advises Mamba Exploration Limited on its IPO and ASX listing

Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Mamba Exploration Limited (ASX:M24) on its AUD7 million IPO and ASX listing.

Mamba Exploration is a Western Australian focused exploration Company, with four 100% owned geographically diverse projects which provide year-round access. The projects are highly prospective base and precious metals exploration assets in the Ashburton, Kimberley, Darling Range and Great Southern regions of Western Australia.

As part of the IPO, Mamba completed the acquisition of the 100% owned Western Australian projects including the Darling Range nickel, copper and PGE project in the Julimar region, the Calyerup Creek gold project in the Great Southern, the Ashburton Gold project in the southern Ashburton, and the Kimberley Projects in the East Kimberley. These projects will allow year-round exploration activity and news flows.

DLA Piper’s team was led by Global Co-Chair of Energy and Natural Resources Alex Jones and Corporate partner James Stewart, with support from Matthew Roberts and Kirsty Hall.

Alex Jones said “we are thrilled to be able to support Mamba Exploration in what has proved to be a highly successful IPO, and excited to see Mamba commence exploration activities across its projects in Western Australia.

James Stewart commented “we are seeing a strong pipeline of IPOs in what is a buoyant market. It is good to see the IPO market opening up in the junior mining space, with strong support for good projects.”
