Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA lists on Oslo Børs

Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA (Cloudberry), the Nordic renewable energy company that owns, develops and operates hydro power plants and windfarms in Norway and Sweden, today moved from Euronext Growth to a listing on Oslo Stock Exchange’s main list, Oslo Børs. Our Oslo-based Capital Markets team advised Cloudberry on the listing.

Since Cloudberry was listed on Euronext Growth in April 2020, the company has raised NOK1.8 billion in equity capital from Nordic and international investors, enabling substantial progress in growing the company’s portfolio of wind and hydropower energy assets in Norway and Sweden.

“Cloudberry offers a unique opportunity for investing in Nordic hydro- and wind power. We are pleased to see increasing interest and support from professional, long-term investors across geographies as we are growing our portfolio of hydro- and wind power assets. The uplisting to Oslo Børs represents another important milestone for the company and supports continued strong growth and stakeholder value creation”, says CEO Anders Lenborg.

“We want to thank DLA Piper for their strong and dedicated support during this project. Their focus, availability and hard work has been very motivating to us and a key factor in achieving this milestone”, says CVO Christian Helland.

Magnus Brox, Corporate M&A and Capital Markets partner at DLA Piper Norway commented: “Cloudberry’s admission to trading on Oslo Børs is a huge milestone for the company. The listing will give them the opportunity to further strengthen their position as a Nordic leader in the renewable sector and reach the next level in this rapidly growing industry. We are delighted to have advised them on such an important process, which marks an important step in our growing capital markets practice.”

The DLA Piper Norway team was led by partner Magnus Brox and supported by associate Dina Jørstad.
