DLA Piper advises Bilfinger SE on a divestment of Bilfinger Rohrleitungsbau
DLA Piper has advised the listed company Bilfinger SE on the strategic sale of Bilfinger Rohrleitungsbau. In a share deal, 100% of the shares in Bilfinger Rohrleitungsbau GmbH have been acquired by ERBUD Holding Deutschland GmbH. The purchase price is subject to confidentiality undertakings.
The sale is part of Bilfinger's strategic focus on the engineering services segment. Bilfinger Rohrleitungsbau GmbH provides construction, design, dismantling as well as assembly work of all kinds of piping systems for chemical, petrochemical, energy, steel and other industrial facilities with sales of around EUR39 million in 2020 and approximately 270 employees.
ERBUD Holding Deutschland GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of ERBUD SA, headquartered in Warsaw. Together with its subsidiaries, the listed ERBUD SA is one of the five largest construction groups in Poland and operates in the fields of building construction, civil engineering and road construction, industrial construction, engineering technology and construction development in Poland and in other member states of the European Union.
Bilfinger is a leading international industrial services provider and with two business main business segments, being engineering & maintenance and technologies. Bilfinger is, in particular, active in Europe, North America and the Middle East. With its approximately 29,000 employees, the Bilfinger generated revenues of EUR3.5 billion in the 2020 financial year.
