DLA Piper advises Abry Partners in US$400 million sale of Sentry Data Systems

DLA Piper represented private equity investment firm Abry Partners in its US$400 million sale of Sentry Data Systems, Inc., a leading pharmacy procurement, compliance and utilization management company, to Craneware plc.

Founded in 1989, Abry Partners has completed over US$90 billion of leveraged transactions and other private equity or preferred equity placements. Currently, the firm manages over US$5 billion of capital across its active funds.

“It was a pleasure to support Abry Partners in this transaction, bringing together our extensive technology private equity capabilities and healthcare sector experience to facilitate its sale of Sentry Data Systems,” said Joe Alexander, DLA Piper’s US vice chair and the partner who led the firm’s deal team.
