DLA Piper partner Charlene Sun appointed to USA Sub-Committee of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Charlene Sun, a partner in DLA Piper's International Arbitration practice, has been appointed to the USA Sub-Committee of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge (ERA Pledge).

Made up of a diverse cross-section of the arbitration community in the United States, the Sub-Committee will promote the ERA Pledge in the US, focusing on increasing awareness and driving change in the appointment of female arbitrators, female practitioners as lead counsel and the advancement of female in-house counsel.

Sun focuses her practice on international arbitration and multi-jurisdictional cross-border disputes. She enforces arbitral awards and foreign judgments in US courts and coordinates global asset recovery campaigns against sovereign and non-sovereign debtors. She is fluent in matters involving foreign sovereign immunity and other complex jurisdictional issues that arise when litigating foreign disputes in US courts.
