DLA Piper partner Katie Jahnke Dale named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2022 50 Under 40 list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Katie Jahnke Dale, co-location head of the firm’s Chicago Real Estate practice, was named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2022 50 Under 40 list recognizing the top young real estate professionals.

The publication highlighted Jahnke Dale’s work leading zoning and entitlements processes for projects that have “helped transform Chicago and its skyline,” including Lincoln Yards, the 78 and many projects in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood. GlobeSt. noted that she “has become one of Chicago’s leading attorneys in land use and development, with an impressive depth of skills in virtually every type of commercial real estate” and is “well-recognized as a thought-leader in the space by influential decision-makers creating policy for the city.”

Jahnke Dale’s practice involves representing developers, purchasers, sellers and owners of institutional, residential and commercial property in securing development and zoning approvals, negotiating and implementing public-private development and financing arrangements and incentives, performing general and zoning due diligence, and negotiating and closing real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
