DLA Piper Canada advised American Copper Development Corporation on acquisition of Lordsburg ‎Property and appointment of Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse as Chairman

On August 9, 2022, American Copper Development Corporation (CSE: ACDX) ("ACDC") completed its acquisition of mineral property interests located in the State of New Mexico (the "Lordsburg Property") from Pyramid Peak Mining, LLC. DLA Piper Canada acted for ACDC‎ in this transaction, in addition to a C$10 million private placement.‎

Upon closing of the transaction, Daniel Schieber, Curt Freeman and Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse were appointed to the board of directors of ACDC, with Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse acting as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Schieber acting as Chief Executive Officer.

ACDC is engaged in the business of mineral exploration and the acquisition of mineral property assets. Its objective is to locate and develop economic precious and base metal properties of merit and to conduct its exploration program on the Lordsburg Property and the Chuchi South Property.
