DLA Piper partner Jamila Justine Willis named to American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2022 40 Under 40 list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner Jamila Justine Willis, co-chair of the firm’s Consumer Goods and Retail sector and chair of the New York Restructuring practice, has been named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2022 40 under 40 list recognizing professionals “who demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.”

In her practice, Willis advises clients in the area of financial and corporate restructuring. She has extensive experience representing debtors in complex restructurings across industries and borders. Additionally, she represents debtors, sponsors, acquirers and distressed investors in distressed asset sales and distressed acquisitions.
