DLA Piper appoints notarial partner to Amsterdam office
DLA Piper is further strengthening its Real Estate practice with the appointment of Martin Daverschot as a partner in our Amsterdam office. He joins the firm from Dentons as of 1 December 2022.
Martin’s practice focuses on advising clients in complex real estate and property law-related structuring for new building developments and renovations and advises on apartment law and restricted rights. He is also involved in acquisitions and refinancing of large residential and commercial real estate portfolios.
Commenting on the appointment, Country Managing Partner, Lex Oosterling, said:
“The Netherlands Real Estate team continues to build its reputation for working on increasingly complex, multi-jurisdictional Real Estate investment transactions. Martin brings with him a wealth of experience based largely around project development and real estate transactions. He is highly regarded in the market and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Martin’s appointment is yet another example of the firm’s commitment to developing its global real estate offering, following on from a number of partner hires within the past 12 months.
