DLA Piper advises team.blue on the acquisition of helloCash

DLA Piper has advised team.blue on the strategic acquisition of helloCash, a leading provider of digital point-of-sale (POS) and cash register software based in Austria. This transaction further strengthens team.blue's SaaS offering and aligns with the group's strategy of empowering entrepreneurs with the best possible tools to make their digital journey successful.

Founded in 2014, helloCash has become a substantial player in the Cash Register/POS space with its team of more than 30 experts serving over 30,000 customers in seven countries. Its cloud-based POS system and app ecosystem provide customizable billing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses that can be accessed anywhere and on any device. Joining team.blue will support helloCash's organic growth ambitions and open up opportunities for connecting to other SaaS solutions within team.blue.

DLA Piper has advised team.blue on a series of acquisitions across Europe in the past. The acquisition of helloCash was led by Corporate/M&A partner Dr Christoph Mager (Vienna) and senior associate Dan Li (Hamburg).
