DLA Piper shortlisted for three American Lawyer Industry Awards

DLA Piper has been shortlisted in three American Lawyer 2025 Industry Award categories: Products Liability Litigation Department of the Year, Best Client/Law Firm Team, and Best Provider Collaboration. The annual awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, law firms, and legal departments across various practice areas and specialties, and winners will be announced at this year's event on November 13 in New York City.

DLA Piper was one of four firms to be shortlisted in the Products Liability Litigation Department of the Year category, in recognition of its track record of obtaining defense verdicts in high-exposure trials, with potential damages in the hundreds of millions.

In the Best Client/Law Firm Team category, DLA Piper was shortlisted for its ongoing collaboration with Microsoft, which spans legal service delivery, Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, operational transformation, and pro bono initiatives.

Finally, the firm was shortlisted in the Best Provider Collaboration category, together with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a specialized agency of the United Nations, and Stanford Law School CodeX, for its role as the founding law firm of the UN AI for Good Law Track, aimed at using AI to advance the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through the areas of law and policy.
