About
Bianca Zavanone is a junior legal advisor with a dual legal and policy background. She has recently re-joined DLA Piper after completing a Master's degree at the College of Europe. 

Bianca focuses on EU financial and trade sanctions, as well as export controls compliance. In addition, Bianca has provided strategic legal and policy advice on a range of tech and digital EU policies, particularly on the artificial intelligence regulation and related initiatives (AI Act, AI Liability Directive, Generative AI Code of Practice etc.). 

She has also assisted clients on several environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulatory matters, including advice on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Batteries Regulation.
