Transatlantic Business Perspectives: Navigating US Geopolitical, Regulatory, and Enforcement Shifts, Including the New FCPA Guidance
Tuesday, 24 June 2025
We hosted a dynamic working session where we will explore the rapidly evolving geopolitical, regulatory, and enforcement landscape and its impact on business across the Atlantic. In light of the newly released DOJ Guidance on FCPA investigation and enforcement, this session provided timely insights into how these developments may affect transatlantic business operations and compliance strategies.
As policy changes coming out of Washington, DC and global reactions continue to reshape local markets and regulatory expectations, cross-border collaboration and insight have never been more critical. This event brought together our cross-functional teams from Paris and Washington, DC to share practical perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses operating in both regions.
During this session, we addressed the following topics:
- The Trump administration’s impacts on transatlantic business and geopolitical risks.
- Regulatory and enforcement trends in both Europe and the US, including the latest DOJ FCPA Guidance: what’s changing, what’s converging, and what to watch for.
- Practical strategies for navigating increased scrutiny and compliance expectations on both sides of the Atlantic in a complex, fast-moving and uncertain environment.
- Opportunities for transatlantic collaboration and best practices to address emerging risks and leverage new business opportunities.
This event was designed for our clients and partners who want to stay ahead of the curve, engage with leading practitioners from both sides of the Atlantic, and gain actionable insights into the issues shaping today’s business landscape—including the latest on FCPA enforcement.
The discussions was followed by a networking cocktail reception.
