Susan Acquista helps clients implement and maintain strategies to protect their intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.

She has extensive experience litigating intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement and validity, trademark and trade dress infringement and dilution, false advertising, trade secret misappropriation, licensing, unfair competition and copyright matters. She has represented clients through all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial and appeal, and in cases involving a broad spectrum of technologies.  For example, she has litigated patent disputes involving electromechanical and mechanical devices, consumer electronics, computer processes and applications, and pharmaceutical compositions and methods of practice.

Susan also represents and advises clients on protecting their trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, from the adoption of trademarks to the protection of them on a global basis, including both prosecution and enforcement. She has experience in working with both mature and emerging companies on developing and strengthening brands in a wide variety of industries.
