  • Part of the team assisting the Greenstreet 1 (Pty) Ltd on its acquisition of a majority stake in Solar Capital De Aar 3 (RF) Pty Ltd, a solar photovoltaic project under the Renewable Energy Independent Power Procurement Programme. *
  • Advising a Canadian philanthropic institution in litigation against a South African venture capital firm, arising from the termination of a USD106.5m agreement intended to support small, medium, and micro-sized enterprises across Africa. The matter involved cross-border legal advisory input, including Canadian trust laws, business rescue laws, and other relevant trust-related regulations. *
  • Part of the team assisting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as international legal counsel on the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources' mineral law reform project. *
