Addressing Gender Balance in Construction

Senior leadership training

Tuesday, 20 June 2023

11am GST

Gender balance is under development in the construction industry globally and with increasing emphasis on ESG, the spotlight is turning to it.

It’s a competitive advantage for companies to advance toward achieving gender balanced teams.  Boosting gender diversity within a company not only provides access to a broader pool of talent but also greater diversity of thought.

We believe that education on how we might reach a balanced industry through truly inclusive leadership is key to reaching the goal.

If you’re a senior leader in the construction industry, whether you’re in the C-suite or the General Counsel office, we would be delighted if you could join us online for a one hour training workshop entitled “Addressing Gender Balance in Construction” in partnership with hosts from engineering and construction backgrounds from InTouch Female & Career Academy, who are leaders in professional training and development.

Open to all genders, our broad aim is that you leave the workshop feeling empowered with practical tools to equip you as a senior leader to make a positive difference to gender balance in your business as well as the broader construction industry.

What you will take away from the training:

  • Learn what inclusive leadership is and means for you in your senior leadership role in construction and in your business
  • Understand how you can inspire and enable other team members to take positive action supporting gender diversity
  • Learn about your role as a transformative leader in enabling a more gender balanced construction industry
  • Understand what DEI brings to the construction industry and why it is necessary for a sustainable business
  • Understand how to create an environment ready to embrace more women in your business and in leadership
