Please join us for a DLA Piper Policy Matters event on the topic of Artificial Intelligence. This two-part program includes AI 101: Unlocking the Future, a panel with DLA Piper’s team on the fundamentals and potential impacts of AI, setting the stage for our exclusive bipartisan panel on the developing regulatory and legislative landscape affecting business across the globe.

Our distinguished guests, Senator Martin Heinrich, D-NM and Senator Mike Rounds, R-SD, are two of the four lawmakers leading an effort in the Senate to craft comprehensive legislation to regulate AI. Their remarks will address the “AI Insight Forums” currently being held by US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and AI industry leaders. Senator Richard Burr, DLA Piper's Principal Policy Advisor, will introduce both panels.

Our featured speakers include Senator Martin Heinrich, D-NM, Co-Chairman of the Senate Artificial Intelligence Caucus, Chair of the Joint Economic Committee and member of the Select Committee on Intelligence, and Senator Mike Rounds, R-SD, Co-Chairman of the Senate Artificial Intelligence Caucus, member of the US Senate Committee on Armed Services and the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity.
