2nd Annual LabStart Fellow Showcase

DLA Piper and LabStart hosted an invitation-only San Francisco Climate Week event to meet LabStart’s first cohort of founders, where they discussed their startups and journeys and their innovations – from decarbonizing industrial and manufacturing processes to revolutionizing sustainable low-income housing construction.

California Energy Commission Chair David Hochschild, DLA Piper Partner Craig Tighe, and LabStart CEO Deepa Lounsbury shed light on the climate technology potential stemming from US national labs and universities, ways to unlock the entrepreneurial talent all around us, and how organizations can support and benefit from bringing this tech to market.
