Maria Chiara Malaguti

President of UNIDROIT | Full Professor of International law, Università Cattolica di Milano

Maria Chiara Malaguti is Full Professor of International law at Università Cattolica Sacro Cuore (Milan/Rome, Italy). She was appointed President of UNIDROIT since 1 September 2020, first woman to cover such position.

Of counsel at PedersoliGattai (Milan/Rome), she is also legal advisor to the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs on trade matters and to the World Bank on legal reform of payment systems, financial markets, and governance.

Norah Gallagher

Norah Gallagher

Academic Director, Energy & Climate Change Law Institute, Queen Mary University of London

Norah is the Academic Director of the Energy & Climate Change Law Institute at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies. She is also the Director of the School of International Arbitration. Norah is a public international lawyer specialised in international dispute resolution for over twenty years. She has advised on a range of issues on international commercial and investment cases and sits regularly as arbitrator including energy and mining disputes.

International arbitration lawyer and lecturer, Geneva Master in International Dispute Settlement

Mohamed Mahayni is a dual-qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and avocat (Paris Bar) specialising in international arbitration. He has acted in international arbitrations under institutional and ad hoc rules, both as counsel and secretary to tribunals (White & Case LLP 2007-2013 and independently 2018-2024).

Global co-chair of the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Group, Pierson Ferdinand

Tiffany represents companies around the world as an advocate in international arbitration and litigation and also serves as an arbitrator with the ICC, AAA, DRC, and other arbitral institutions. Her experience encompasses a range of disputes, particularly in the international agriculture, food & beverage, and energy/oil & gas sectors.

He focuses on commercial and investment arbitration and international litigation. He regularly assists and advises Italian and foreign clients in complex arbitrations on contracts involving private and public parties and different sets of rules (ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, EDF).

Independent Arbitrator, Arbitra International

Monique Sasson is qualified in England, New York and Italy. She practised at Herbert Smith in London and Studio Legale Chiomenti in Rome, before earning a Ph.D. in international law from Cambridge University. She worked in house at Morgan Stanley in New York, and returned to her home jurisdiction, Italy, in 2017. She now works as practises as counsel at DeliSasson, Milan.

Member of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP International Arbitration group and leads the Italian arbitration team. Her practice focuses on investment treaty arbitration, international commercial arbitration, and public international law disputes. Ms. Petrelli has represented sovereign States and State-owned entities in connection with international arbitrations under the leading institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules.
