Sapin II Law

Now a key link in France's transparency and anti-corruption mechanism, law n°2016-1691 voted on 9th December 2016, known as « Sapin II » law, translates the French government's will to align France to the best international standards, particularly with the American's 1977 Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the 2010/11 UK Bribery Act.

To assist its clients in the implementation, reinforcement, control or audit of their internal prevention programs and to help them detect bribery or corruption, and if need be to accompany them in the case of internal investigations or investigations led by public authorities, DLA Piper France has dedicated a team of lawyers to Compliance, Anti-Corruption and White-Collar Defense issues.
