DLA Piper advises PIB Group on acquisition of Creane & Creane insurance
DLA Piper has advised PIB Group, the independent insurance intermediary group on its acquisition of Irish broker Creane & Creane Insurance. Founded in 1945, Creane & Creane provides commercial and personal lines cover to retail and business customers and is one of the oldest brokers in Ireland.
Matt Cole (Corporate Partner), Steve Duggan (Corporate Senior Associate) and Dara McDonald (Corporate Associate) led a large multi-disciplinary DLA Piper team in Dublin including Eimear O’Brien (Financial Regulatory Legal Director), Patrick O’Donovan (Tax Associate), Conor McEneaney (IPT Senior Associate), Niamh Murphy (Real Estate Associate) and Triona Cody (Employment Senior Associate).
